At last we got some proper winter in eastern Norway. Let's celebrate with a video of snow blowers.

Most people, when the first big snow happens, post videos of hooning in it. But you posted snow plows.

I don't know why, but I find this oddly pleasing.

Sadly we've only had 12" the last few days. Still.. more than the UK.

They do, if they're not shaped like Norway. Or Chile.

Actually, of course you have an east. It's called Sweden.

Hooning is fun, don't get me wrong. But there is something about these huge machines that tickles me fancy just that tiny bit more than your common hooningans :P

Hehe.. well, take a look at southern Norway (the fat bit).. That's divided into South, East and West (West goes up a bit further though.. But I get your point mate, most of Norway is just North :P

I've seen 300mm maybe once in my life on the south coast.

Oh, I completely understand. I grew up watching Mighty Machines, which was all about big (and small) work vehicles. It was rad.

300mm on the south coast? How did anyone survive that? Most snow I've seen in one day (as in fell on our heads in 24h) would be 760mm, and that was.. uhh, not that fun.

Must have been years ago though? I know snow in southern England was common not that many years ago, but 300mm? It seems to me that the whole southern part of the UK stops working it there's even a slight chance of snow these days (Much like Oslo here in Norway).

That's probably the main reason I haven't moved to the UK, the lack of snow. I've got a rather unhealthy infatuation when it comes to the UK :P Football, beer, pubs, rain..
